Home & Baby Tips

Just a few little bits I've picked up along the way...

Household:
1.  Butter wrappers make great pan/baking dish greasers.  Not baking?  Store them in a bag in the fridge.
2.  Save those formula scoops, we shop at BJ's and whenever you buy drink mixes, etc there, they don't come with scoops.  Also works great in flour, sugar, and coffee tins.
3.  Cereal, cracker, and chip crumbs in the bottom of the bag?  Don't throw them away.  If its not a super sweet cereal save it to use as chicken breading.  I don't think Fruit Loop Chicken is a good idea.

Baby:
1.  Cloth diapers = phenomenal burp clothes.  Super absorbent and bleach well.

Cleaning/Organizing:
I have compiled a list of things I try to do all the time/every day to keep my house relatively clean and organized:
1.  Do the dishes every night.  Its so nice to wake up every morning and not have to do any.  It basically inspires me to remain clean.
2.  When done doing the dishes, scrub out the sink quick and toss a little baking soda down the drain.  Keeps things shiny and smelling good.
3.  Every time you walk out of a room, grab something that belongs in another room and put it away.

This page, too, is a work in progress.  Check back periodically for updates.
